Horned Scimitar Oryx:
From central north Africa, these majestic animals have adapted to the South Texas terrain and thrived. Hunts are offered year-round as there are no seasonal restrictions.
The greater kudu is a woodland antelope found throughout eastern and southern Africa. Kudu meat is similar to venison (deer), with a slight gamey, liver-like flavor.
The Nubian ibex is a desert-dwelling goat species found in mountainous areas of northern and northeast Africa, and the Middle East. Nubian ibexes stand around 65–75 cm (2.1–2.6 ft) tall at the shoulder and weigh around 50 kg (110 lb). They are a light tan color, with a white underbelly; males also have a dark brown stripe down their backs.
The Hybrid Ibex is a cross between a wild Bezoar Ibex and a domestic goat. They tend to be very similar to a standard Bezoar , but have longer coats and floppy ears. The biggest difference is the horns, which will flare our more that other ibex species.
All hunt purchases are non-refundable, but can be applied to an alternative hunting date in the same season with at least a 30 day advanced notice.
A deers harvest is not guaranteed. You will be charged $250/day if you do not end up drawing blood/hair or harvesting a deer during your hunt. If you are unsuccessful, you can transfer your remaining deposit for the next years hunt.
If you draw blood or hair while attempting to harvest a deer, the deer will be considered dead, even if not recovered, and you will be responsible for full payment. Reasonable efforts will be made to recover any wounded deer. The Ranch Manager’s decision as to the scope of recovery efforts will be final.
