Trophy Whitetail Deer
White-tailed deer are found throughout the United States. There are an estimated four million white-tailed deer living in Texas. They are often solitary animals but can be found in herds ranging in various sizes. White-tails eat mostly forbs (weedy plants) and shrubs and can be found in wooded and brushy areas of the state. Deer do not migrate but remain in an area around one square kilometer in size (about 7 square city blocks) year-round.

Legacy Ranch offers premiere dove hunting during the 2 south zone seasons offered. We hav a huge pasture that is ideal for great dove hunting. Our hunters usually have no problem filling their daily bag limit. We offer White-Winged, Mourning Doves and Eurasian Collared Doves.

Fallow Deer
Legacy Ranch has some beautiful trophy fallow deer. The best time to hunt Fallow deer is in early September through the end of November. Our Big Fallow Bucks will be hard-horned and not broken up yet due to the rut.

Kudu
Greater Kudu have the longest horns of all antelope species and are the second largest antelope in the world! These beautiful antelopes are masters of camouflage and can be quite difficult to locate. Their brown coats are perfect for hiding; but, if necessary, they can also reach speeds up to 60 miles per hour!
